SLATE Debuts in Trident Warrior 08

SLATE is net-centric wireless software for palmtop/laptop for small team communications, allowing users to import mission documents (maps, timelines, photos) and exchange annotations directly on them. SLATE is participating in Trident Warrior 08 as a functioning prototype.
PSE Aids Marine Training at Hi-Tech Pendleton Facility

A team lead by PSE scientist Erica Palmer is evaluating the effectiveness of the USMC’s Infantry Immersion Trainer (IIT) at Camp Pendleton, California.The large, indoor facility was constructed to simulate an Iraqi village, complete with houses, alleys, mosque, marketplace, Iraqi civilians, and enemy combatants.
