Testing and evaluating concepts, interfaces, and systems is embedded in everything we do. We use both laboratory and field environments for testing depending on the outcome desired. Some concepts and early design visualizations are best tested in controlled, dedicated lab settings where we can precisely measure the impact of a design intervention or conceptual schema. Conversely, high-fidelity prototypes and actual systems ready for delivery to users must be tested in the environments for which they are suited. Our highly skilled team of engineers and scientists value the “hands on” approach and encourage each member of the team to have face-to-face discussions with those who we support.
We are adept at planning, coordinating, and conducting experiments in both lab and field settings to better serve those who will eventually use a system, tool or interface.
