Training

PSE has a wealth of experience applying human factors and organizational principles to the development and implementation of training curricula. For over 20 years, we have developed training procedures and materials in commercial, medical, and military settings.

System-of-Systems (SOS) Training

Our SOS approach acknowledges that business functions and tasks are not often performed by any one individual system operating alone. Therefore, employees are required to understand how a group of interrelated, interacting, or interdependent systems form a complex whole. Our team will develop training to enhance employees' understanding of when to use specific combinations of systems to most efficiently achieve specific tasks.

• Assessment of Training Requirements

  Our consultant team will provide you with recommendations for the types of training that would benefit your company, to comply with legal requirements or to enhance employee performance.

• Assessment of Training Programs

  We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the efficiency of your existing training programs. We also provide your company with assessment materials that your staff can use to conduct future evaluations.

Design and Delivery of Training Materials

We can develop training programs to meet your company's needs, or we can work with your staff to offer guidance. Likewise, our experienced trainers can deliver training directly to your employees, or on a "train-the-trainer basis"

• Hands-on-Training session

  Along with our trainers, each trainee walks though a hands-on-exercise that is intended to familiarize the trainee to the system's features, functions, and capabilities when performing specific tasks.

• System Guidance

  Reference Guides assist users with navigating a system when performing tasks. Specifically, it provides summary level information on the structure of the system and steps on how to use features and functionalities of the system, and it identifies components of the system.

  Business Rules - established best practices that provide personnel with direction and guidance for using a system to accomplish work activities. Business rules can provide general guidance, or they can provide very detailed parameters to promote consistency of performance among several workers. Business rules provide an understanding of business processes and teamwork, and as a result affect the bottom-line by reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction.
